Classrooms

Our classrooms are specifically setup with your child in mind. We seek to provide classrooms that are intentionally prepared, inviting, and stimulating to support self-confidence, pride in accomplishments, and a growing love of learning.

Each room features a special carpet/tile hybrid used in hospitals and at Disney to facilitate everything from eating and art to circle-time and just crawling around. Small group instruction and learning centers promote active learning and teacher guidance throughout the day.

Teachers

Teachers are at the heart of our program and are selected for their educational background and experience in early childhood education. In addition to creating safe, nurturing, loving environments, all teachers and staff meet Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning requirements for working with children in a preschool environment. Ongoing staff development and safety training is standard so teachers are able to create the safest, highest quality learning environments for your children.

Curriculum

Children come into the world eager to learn. During the first five years of life, tremendous growth takes place, as young children set off to explore their world and understand their place in it. Our thoughtfully selected programs provide a consistent curriculum for toddlers through preschoolers with a monthly theme based on literature and S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering. Arts. Math.).

Learning opportunities are presented in a hands-on, child-centered, developmentally appropriate sequence through the use of small and large group activities, learning centers, outdoor play, and special events that challenge children to explore their interests, acquire knowledge, and build new skills.

Fitness & Nutrition

Half-day students receive a healthy snack, while extended-day students receive two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch. See our monthly menu. (link to menu—coming soon!)

Our playgrounds are designed for exercise and fun. Children are encouraged to participate in activities that promote physical development and gross motor skills to increase strength and stamina.

Proper sleep is also important in a child’s development. Children participate in nap time on individual cots in a peaceful environment. Regular naps promote proper sleep patterns and lead to healthy growth and better learning.
